Connect integrations and API keys

Everything the marketing system can do without a connection, and the few things that need one: publishing, social, Search Console, Resend, and your CRM.

Your marketing workspace is already researching, planning, and drafting when you first sign in. None of that needs a connection. Connections are what let it publish, send, and track on your behalf, and you add them when you want that specific thing, not before.

Nothing here is a gate

There is no wizard you have to finish before the app will work. The Publishing connected row on your home page checklist is the only place connections come up, and it is marked optional. You can leave it alone for weeks and still review and approve articles by hand.

Two ways in

From the checklist. The Connect publishing button on the home page checklist opens the five-step wizard at ams.noliai.com/onboarding/connect. It walks through, in order:

  1. AI Engine, your own Gemini API key, so your content pipeline never pauses when your included usage runs out.
  2. Blog Platform, so approved articles publish themselves.
  3. Social Accounts, so repurposed content goes out across your channels.
  4. Search Console, for keyword rankings, impressions, and content opportunities.
  5. Email Delivery, your Resend key, which is required to send any email.

From Settings. Every one of those is also its own panel under Settings, and that is the better route if you only want one of them. Skipping the wizard is a real answer: the checklist and Settings both treat skipped as done, and a quiet link to connect more stays behind.

Publishing platforms

In Settings, Publishing, pick where approved articles go:

  • WordPress, a one-click plugin that works on any host. Step by step: Connect your WordPress site.
  • Ghost, publish via your Ghost Admin API key.
  • Webflow, publish to a Webflow CMS collection via API token.
  • Custom API, push to any endpoint for your own site builder or CMS.

Turn on auto-publish to send approved articles automatically. With auto-publish on you can also let your Chief of Staff generate a hero image for each article as it goes out.

Social accounts

Social accounts are connected on Settings, Publishing too, alongside the auto-publish switch. Connect LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube there.

Settings, Platforms is a different thing: it decides which channels get content written for them and how many versions of each. Connecting an account and enabling a channel are two separate steps.

One caveat: even with an X account connected, threads cannot be posted to X for you. X threads are written and saved on the Social page for you to post by hand. See Repurpose content for social media.

Your CRM

Connecting your Noli CRM does two things: it creates a contact for every lead your landing pages and lead magnets capture, and it reads revenue back so your marketing can be tied to results.

It needs two pieces, both in Settings, API Keys, under Noli CRM:

  1. Your CRM URL, usually https://crm.noliai.com.
  2. An API key, generated in your CRM under Settings, API Keys. Copy it when it is shown, because it may only be shown once.

Paste both and click Connect. Until both are saved, leads are still captured and stored on your landing pages, and nothing is lost, but nothing is pushed to the CRM either. There is no other switch: the connection is the switch.

Each lead arrives at the CRM with the campaign and source that produced it, so the revenue figure on your home page can name the channel that earned it.

The CRM does not send your email (that is Resend) and it does not host your landing pages (they are hosted for you).

Google Search Console

Connect Google Search Console from the Performance area to track rankings. See Track content performance.

API keys

In Settings, API Keys you can add your own keys. Two groups:

  • Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google are covered by your plan. Add your own key for these only if you want the pipeline to keep running past your included usage.
  • The rest are not optional if you want the feature. Resend to send any email at all, HeyGen for avatar video, a Google key for video clips, fal.ai for cinematic video, and DataForSEO for keyword research.

Event APIs (Eventbrite, PredictHQ) power local event discovery and both have free tiers.

Many connections work out of the box. See How your team connects.
