Add your own AI keys

Add your OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google keys once so your AI never pauses when your monthly tokens run out.

Every plan includes a generous monthly pool of AI usage, and for most teams that is all you need. If you want a safety net so your AI never pauses, you can add your own provider keys. When your team's monthly tokens run out, Noli switches to your keys automatically and keeps working. You only pay your provider for what is actually used beyond your plan.

You add keys once, in one place, and they cover every product and your Chief of Staff.

Where to add them

Open Settings, then the AI provider keys page. This is managed by your workspace owner. If you are not the owner, you will see a note that your owner handles keys.

Add a key

You can add any or all of three providers:

  • OpenAI, a key that starts with sk-
  • Anthropic (Claude), a key that starts with sk-ant-
  • Google (Gemini), a key that starts with AIza

Paste a key in its box and click Save. Each provider shows whether a key is set. Adding all three is best, because it lets Noli pick the right provider for each task.

Getting a key from each provider

  • OpenAI: create a key at the OpenAI platform, then add a payment method on its billing page. OpenAI requires this before a key will work. Copy the key right away, it is only shown once.
  • Anthropic: create a key in the Anthropic console and add some credit to your balance first. Copy it right away, it is only shown once.
  • Google: go to aistudio.google.com, sign in, and create a key. If asked, pick a project or let Google create one.

Replace or remove a key

To replace a key, paste a new one over the old and save. To remove one, use Remove. With no keys set, your AI simply pauses when the monthly pool is used up, and resumes the next cycle.

How it works with your plan

Keys are a fall-through, not a replacement. Normal usage draws on your included monthly tokens. Only once those run out does Noli switch to your keys, and that usage is billed by your provider, not by Noli. See Your AI usage and allowance for how the pool works.
