Your AI usage and allowance
How your monthly token pool works, what happens when you reach it, and how to keep your AI running.
Every plan includes a monthly pool of AI tokens that covers all of your usage across every product and your Chief of Staff. The pool is generous, so normal day-to-day work very rarely runs into it.
One shared pool
Your allowance is pooled at the workspace level, not split per person. Everyone on your team draws from the same monthly pool, and it covers every product: CRM, Marketing, Knowledge Base, Projects, the GTM Engineer, and your Chief of Staff. The GTM Engineer's prospect research is paid from the same pool too, so there is no separate balance to top up. The AI Receptionist add-on is billed separately, in dollars, for usage past its included minutes. Teams get a larger pool, and it grows as you add seats. See where you stand
Your current usage shows in the dashboard, with a meter for tokens used this period. The pool resets at the start of each billing cycle.
One place the numbers look different on purpose: the Usage tab inside your Chief of Staff shows raw model tokens straight from your agent, while your plan's included AI tokens are measured by cost. So the two figures will not match, and that is expected. The dashboard meter is the one your allowance runs on.
Alerts before you run out
Noli emails the workspace owner when usage passes 80 percent and again at 100 percent of the monthly pool, once each per cycle, so there are no surprises. Usage is checked once a day, so the email can arrive up to a day after you cross the line.
What happens at the limit
If you reach the end of your pool:
- With your own AI keys added, your Noli apps switch to your keys automatically and keep working, with that usage billed by your provider. Your Chief of Staff keeps working too, as long as the model it runs on comes from a provider whose key you added, because it uses that key from the start. See Add your own AI keys.
- Without your own keys, AI features pause and prompt you, then resume at the start of the next cycle. Your data and everything else stay fully available.
