From topic to published post
Follow a post through the content pipeline from planned to in progress to review to published.
The content pipeline is where articles get made. Your marketing system carries each post through research, drafting, fact-checking, and polishing, pausing for you wherever your automation settings say to. Find it under Content, Articles.
Only two articles run at a time
This is the thing people ask about most. While two articles are moving, the Start button on the others is greyed out. As soon as one finishes, the oldest planned article starts on its own, so you do not have to come back and press anything. An article whose step failed does not hold a slot.
How a post moves through the pipeline
Start a post from a topic, or click New article at the top of the Pipeline page. It then advances through these stages:
- Researching, the system gathers source material.
- Drafting, it writes a full draft.
- Fact Check 1 and Fact Check 2, claims are verified in two separate passes.
- Humanizing and Style Check, the draft is polished to your brand voice.
- Internal Linking, the new article is tied to what you have already published.
- Ready for Review, the post waits for your approval in your Inbox. See Approve everything from your Inbox.
Control a post mid-flight
Each row has its own controls: Pause, Resume, Retry failed step, and Delete. To stop everything at once, use Pause All at the top of the list, then Resume All when you are ready.
Articles waiting for your review carry a triage badge so you can see at a glance what needs you: Ready to ship or Needs your eyes. Hover it to see why.
Review and approve
Where a stage is a checkpoint, the post pauses and waits for you. Open it from the Pipeline and read the work.
- Approve Brief (at the brief stage) starts the drafting.
- Approve Post approves the article as it stands and sends it to your Content Hub. If it paused at an earlier checkpoint, such as right after drafting or after a fact check, approving skips the stages that were still to come. If you want those stages to run, use Request Revision instead.
- Request Revision opens a note box, and Send Revision hands your note back to the system. The draft is rewritten and goes back through the pipeline before it returns to you.
How many stages pause is up to your automation level. On the default Standard level, only the finished article waits for you. On Autopilot, finished articles skip review and go straight to the Content Hub, except drafts your Chief of Staff started as part of a plan, which always wait for you.
After approval
Approved articles land in your Content Hub, ready to publish to your blog and to repurpose for social. If you turned on Auto-publish on approval under Settings, Publishing, they go to your blog on their own.
