Set your automation level and preferences
Choose how much your marketing system does on its own and where it pauses for your review.
Your marketing system can write articles fully on its own, or pause for your input at key stages. You decide the balance in Settings → Automation. The tab saves as you change it, there is no Save button.
Choose an automation level
- Autopilot, skips review entirely. Articles are drafted, polished, and approved on their own, then land in your Content Hub. If you have turned on Auto-publish on approval in Settings → Publishing, they also go live on your blog without you seeing them first.
- Standard, the default. Articles are drafted and polished automatically, then wait for your final review in your Inbox before they can be published. If you want the clean ones approved without you, turn on Always approve articles like this in the Inbox: an article is then approved on its own only when every check ran and nothing is flagged. - Collaborative, review at every stage: the content brief, the draft, the fact-check results, and the humanized version.
- Custom, choose exactly which stages pause for your review.
The difference between Standard and Autopilot is the last step only. They run identical stages along the way.
Social posts have their own switch. On Social, under What posts on its own, each connected channel either posts automatically or waits for your OK. See Track your social posts.
Set checkpoints
Checkpoints are the stages where work pauses and waits for you. Pick Custom to see the individual checkpoints: Content Brief, Draft Review, Fact Check Results, and Humanized Version. They are hidden on the other three levels. A checkpoint that is off lets that stage advance automatically.
Set article length
Under Article Word Count, the Standard length switch is on by default: articles run 900 to 1,500 words with the direct answer up top. Turn the switch off to pick a length:
- Standard, 900 to 1,500 words.
- Detailed, 1,500 to 2,500 words.
- Long-form, 2,500 to 4,000 words.
- Deep dive, up to 4,500 words, the longest article Noli writes in one piece.

This tab covers articles only. How often new content is made is on Settings → Cadence, which channels get content is on Settings → Platforms, the writing model is on Settings → Models, and your facts, spellings and words to avoid are on Settings → Facts and words.
Change these any time, your choices apply to new work going forward.
