Getting started with the GTM Engineer

What the GTM Engineer does, how work moves from a play to an approved campaign, and the two things you have to set up before anything can send.

Most businesses are not short of effort. They are short of knowing who is already looking for what they sell, and reaching those people while it still matters.

The GTM Engineer is the specialist that does that part. It finds the people showing they are in the market, works out why now, drafts the outreach, and brings the whole thing to you to approve before a single message leaves.

It is not a list you buy. It is not a bot that blasts strangers. Every message that goes out is one you saw first.

How work actually moves

The whole product is one line: a play becomes prospects, prospects become a drafted campaign, and you approve the campaign before it sends.

  1. Start from a play. A play is a specific audience plus the reason they are worth contacting right now. Your workspace is created from your first imported play.
  2. The Strategist sources against it. You describe who you want, and it goes and finds them, with the evidence for each one.
  3. Review the people. Every prospect carries its fit and the evidence behind it.
  4. A campaign gets drafted. Every recipient, every step, every message, written in your voice.
  5. You approve once. That approval freezes the exact batch you reviewed.
  6. Replies come back to the Inbox, classified and drafted for your review.

Where your first play comes from

If you ran the free Audience Plays report, you already have plays waiting. Opening the report while signed in imports them straight into your workspace, and that first import is what creates the workspace.

You can also describe an audience directly to the Strategist and work from there.

Two things to set up before anything can send

Research works immediately. Sending does not, and that is on purpose.

  • A sending address in Setup. Campaign approval stays blocked until you save one. It must be your address, not a Noli address. The people you contact should be replying to you.
  • A connected mailbox in Senders. Messages send from a real mailbox you own, with its own daily cap and health checks.

You can do all your research and drafting before either of these is in place. You just cannot approve a campaign to send.

The screens

Workspace

  • Strategist. Describe who you want. It sources, drafts, and prepares.
  • Knowledge. Your ideal customer profile and your message voice, saved as versions you can lock.

Pipeline

  • Opportunities. The demand it found, and the people behind it, with fit and evidence.
  • Campaigns. Every recipient and message, before the one approval that freezes the batch.
  • Inbox. Replies, classified and answered in your voice.
  • Analytics. What was accepted, what was confirmed delivered, and what a human actually did, kept separate.

Settings

  • Setup. The sender details that carry into every campaign.
  • Senders. Connected mailboxes, their health, and their daily caps.
  • Usage. Data spend in tokens, reserved, charged, and reconciled. It comes out of the same monthly pool as everything else.

What to do first

  1. Import a play, or tell the Strategist who you are after.
  2. Set your ideal customer profile and voice in Knowledge so drafts sound like you from the start.
  3. Save your sending address in Setup and connect a mailbox in Senders.
  4. Review the people it found before you look at any message.
  5. Read the campaign draft properly, then approve.
