Tell the Strategist who you want
Describe the customer you are after in plain language. The Strategist sources them, shows you what it will cost before it runs, and keeps every prospect tied to its evidence.
The Strategist is where you say who you are trying to reach. You do not build a query or tick filter boxes. You describe the customer, the way you would describe them to a new salesperson.
Something like "dental practices in Phoenix with two or more locations that have just started hiring an office manager" is exactly the right level of detail. The specific part, the bit about hiring, is what makes it a play rather than a list.
How a run works
- Tell it who to find, or what to change about the last attempt.
- It works out a sourcing plan and prices it before running.
- You see the estimated cost, and the ceiling on how many raw candidates it will pull.
- It sources, qualifies against your rules, and puts the accepted people in Opportunities.
Because it prices the plan first, you are never surprised. If the plan is more expensive than the audience is worth, change the brief and price it again.
Qualification rules
Qualification is what separates this from buying a list. Your rules decide who survives sourcing, and only accepted companies and accepted people move forward.
It will also tell you plainly when part of your brief is not covered by any adapter, meaning it has no reliable way to source that particular attribute. That is deliberate. A vague "yes" on a filter it cannot actually check would quietly poison everything downstream.
Fit and evidence
Every prospect carries its fit and the evidence claims behind it, evaluated against the specific play. You can see why someone was accepted, not just that they were.
If there are no evidence claims recorded for a prospect, it says so. It does not manufacture a reason.
Your ideal customer profile and voice
The Knowledge screen holds two things the Strategist leans on: your ideal customer profile, and your message voice, which you set by pasting in sample messages you have actually sent.
Saving either one creates a new immutable version rather than overwriting the old one, so you can change your positioning without losing what worked before. You can lock a version once you are happy with it, and drafts are written against the locked voice.
Do this early. A voice profile set before your first campaign saves you rewriting every draft.
Conversations are saved
Your recent Strategist conversations are kept, so you can reopen the thinking behind a play weeks later, or restore one and branch from it rather than starting again.
Consumer audiences
Where it is available in your workspace, the Strategist can also find consumer demand, including buyer and seller demand for property. It looks for the public places where potential buyers gather or express it: communities, forums, threads, events, and creator audiences, with the evidence attached, and sometimes the public author or organizer as context.
Consumer results work differently from business prospects, on purpose. You get a public destination, the evidence, a recommended next step, and draft copy to review. You then take the step yourself, outside Noli, after reading that community's rules. Noli never emails, texts, messages, follows, joins, or posts to a consumer for you, and consumer results cannot be routed into an outreach campaign.
