Run email marketing campaigns

Send email blasts to mailing lists and track opens and clicks from your CRM.

Beyond one-to-one replies, your CRM lets you send broadcasts to many contacts at once and see how they perform.

Find email marketing

Open Email Marketing from the menu. It's organized into tabs:

  • Blasts, one-off campaigns sent to an audience
  • Sequences, automated drip campaigns (see Set up email sequences)
  • Lists, the mailing lists you send to

Build a mailing list

On the Lists tab, create a list and add contacts to it. You can bulk-add contacts from your CRM or import a CSV straight into the list. You can also add contacts to a list automatically with automations, for example, when someone submits a form or gets a certain tag.

Send a blast

On the Blasts tab, create a campaign and choose who it goes to: everyone with an email address, a specific mailing list, or everyone carrying a tag. Start from the template library or a blank message, and use Draft with AI if you would rather not start from scratch.

Write your subject and message, then confirm and send. Scheduling a blast for later is not available in this screen yet, so a blast goes out when you send it.

Track opens and clicks

After a campaign goes out, check its stats to see opens and clicks. Use what you learn to refine your next send. For a fuller picture across your account, see Generate reports and analyze data.

Sending setup

Bulk email goes out through your own sending provider. In CRM Settings, under Bulk Email (ESP), pick Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, or Amazon SES and paste your own API key. There is a step-by-step Resend walkthrough built into that screen, and it is also where you set your sending domain and default from-address.
