Build automated workflows

Set up triggers and actions so your CRM handles routine follow-up and busywork for you.

Automations let your CRM react to events on its own. Pick something that happens (a trigger) and what should follow (one or more actions).

Triggers

Open Automations and start a new workflow. A trigger is the event that kicks things off, including:

  • Contact, contact created or updated, company created
  • Tags, a tag added or removed
  • Deals, deal created, won, lost, or a pipeline stage change
  • Payments, invoice paid or overdue
  • Other, form submitted, booking created, course enrollment, or a scheduled time

Actions

Then choose what happens. Actions include:

  • Send Email or Send SMS
  • Add Tag or Remove Tag
  • Move to Stage in your pipeline
  • Create Task
  • Add to Mailing List
  • Enroll in Sequence
  • Webhook (send data to another tool)

Add conditions

You can filter so the workflow only runs for the right contacts, for example, only when the source equals "Website" or a field contains a certain value. Add a delay between steps when you want to wait before the next action.

Templates are available for common sales, marketing, and customer-success workflows to get you started fast.
