Configure your pipeline stages & automation

Customize your pipeline stages and set rules that fire automatically when a deal changes stage.

Your CRM ships with a sensible default pipeline, but you can shape it to match how you actually sell, and let stage changes do work for you.

Adjust your stages

Your pipeline comes with stages like New Lead, Contacted, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Won, and Lost. Tailor these to your sales process so each column reflects a real step in your deal flow. A pipeline that mirrors reality makes your board and forecasts far more useful.

Automate on stage change

You don't have to remember every follow-up. With automations, a deal entering a stage can trigger actions automatically:

  1. Choose the trigger Pipeline Stage Changed (or Deal Won / Deal Lost).
  2. Pick which stage it applies to.
  3. Add actions, send an email or SMS, create a task, add a tag, or enroll the contact in a sequence.

For example: when a deal moves to Proposal, automatically email the proposal template and create a "follow up in 3 days" task.
