Catch up with Notifications
One feed of updates from your Chief of Staff, scheduled work that ran and anything that had an issue, plus where your morning message lives.
When your Chief of Staff works while you are away, you want a two-minute way to catch up. The Notifications tab is that feed: every update from your Chief of Staff's scheduled work in one list.
Find it in your Chief of Staff under Activity, then Notifications: in the menu down the left side on a computer, or tap Menu, then Activity, then Notifications on a phone.
What shows up
- Scheduled work that ran. Each of your scheduled tasks shows one entry for its most recent run, marked "ran" when everything went fine, or "had an issue" with the reason when something failed, so problems never fail silently. For the details and controls, head to the Scheduled tab.
Everything is timestamped and sorted newest first, so the top of the list is always the latest news.
Your morning message lives on the Opportunities tab
Each morning, 5:00 AM your time unless you pick another time, your Chief of Staff puts one short message at the top of the Opportunities tab: what happened since yesterday, what needs you, and up to two things worth starting today, each line a link. Where else it arrives
The morning message can follow you out of the app. Under Morning message on the Settings tab you can also send it:
- By email, on the Proactive level.
- To Telegram, once Telegram is connected with your chat ID.
- To Discord, once Discord is connected with a channel ID.
The chat boxes only appear once that channel is connected and has an ID to send to, so nothing is promised to a destination that cannot receive it. Everything you turn on gets the same message, in your time zone. Telegram and Discord wait until your quiet hours end. A night with nothing to report stays in the app. Slack and iMessage cannot receive them yet: Slack is for chatting with your Chief of Staff, and iMessage is early access. When the list is empty
If you have not scheduled any work yet, the tab will say so. Notifications fill up as your Chief of Staff takes on recurring jobs, so an empty feed is usually a sign there is more you could delegate.
Why it matters
A Chief of Staff that works around the clock is only useful if you can trust the follow-through. This feed gives you the confirmation loop: what ran and what needs your eyes, all without you chasing any of it.
