Create videos
Make AI avatar videos from a script with your own HeyGen key, and what to know about short video clips.
Video is one of the most effective formats, and your marketing system can produce it for you under Content, Images and video, Video. The page has two tabs, AI Avatar Videos and Video Clips. Both need your own provider key, because the rendering is billed by the provider directly.
AI Avatar Videos
A presenter-style video where an avatar speaks your script, made with HeyGen. It is blocked until you add a HeyGen API key under Settings, API Keys; the help panel there walks you through getting one. See Connect integrations and API keys.
Bring a script
The video wizard starts with a script box. Noli does not write a script for you here. Paste your own, or start from a short-form script your marketing system already wrote, for example a TikTok or YouTube Shorts script: Generate from Content on the AI Avatar Videos tab lists those, and picking one opens the wizard with it already loaded. The Generate AI Video button on a platform tab in the Content Hub does the same.
The wizard has four steps: Script, Avatar & Voice, Configuration, and Review. In Configuration you pick the aspect ratio and the rendering engine: Engine III runs about $1 a minute and Engine IV about $6 a minute, billed by HeyGen.
Pick an aspect ratio
Match the video to where it will run:
- Vertical (9:16), TikTok, Reels, Shorts.
- Landscape (16:9), YouTube and your website.
- Square (1:1), Instagram and LinkedIn.
Video Clips
The Video Clips tab makes 5 to 8 second clips with Google Veo 3, at roughly $0.40 to $1.20 a clip billed to your own Google key on a paid Google plan.
Right now you may not be able to turn this tab on. It looks for a Google key stored in the marketing app, and the marketing app now takes Google keys only in Noli Settings. If the tab says Connect Google AI to get started, clips are not available to you yet. To add short clips to a social post today, use the Video card on that post's platform tab in the Content Hub, which uses a fal.ai key instead.
Generate and download
The system renders your video in the background. When it is ready, preview it and download it. The library offers download and delete only, and holds up to 50 videos: at 50, new videos are refused until you delete some. Video that rides along with a social post is generated from the Content Hub or the Ad Editor, not picked from this library.
