Use Focus mode to stay on track

Hide everything except your current step so you can concentrate on the one thing in front of you.

A long list of steps can feel overwhelming. Focus mode strips the project down to just the step you should be working on right now.

Turn on Focus mode

Open a project and click Focus in the project header. The view collapses to show only your current step, the first one that isn't yet complete. Distractions like the full step list and other controls step out of the way.

Work the current step

With everything else hidden, you can give your full attention to the task in front of you. When you check it off, Focus mode advances to the next incomplete step automatically. See Complete steps and reflect.

Turn it off

Click Focus again to return to the full project view, where you can reorder steps, add new ones, or break a step down.

When to use it

Reach for Focus mode when you have a big plan and just need to do the next thing, it's the cure for staring at a wall of tasks and not starting any of them.
