Capture quick notes and ideas
Save rich-text notes and collect ideas in the Idea Vault with category, status, effort, and impact.
Not everything starts as a file. Quick notes and the Idea Vault let you capture thoughts the moment they happen.
Write a quick note
Open Quick Note from the Capture section of the sidebar. Type or paste your content into the rich-text editor, you can format with bold, lists, and headings. Add an optional title and tags, then save.
Your note is processed just like any other document, so within a few seconds you can search it and ask about it in chat. Quick notes are great for meeting takeaways, things someone told you, or text you copied from elsewhere.
Collect ideas in the Idea Vault
Open Idea Vault from the Capture section to keep your ideas in one place instead of scattered across notes apps. For each idea you can set:
- Category, group ideas by theme or area
- Status, track where an idea stands over time
- Effort, how much work it would take
- Impact, how much it could move the needle
You can also run an AI analysis on an idea to pressure-test it and surface angles you might have missed, drawing on what's already in your knowledge base.
Comparing effort against impact makes it easy to spot the ideas worth acting on first.
