Search and chat with your knowledge

Ask questions and get answers grounded in your own documents, with source citations and tag or date scoping.

Chat is the heart of your knowledge base, a conversation with everything you've captured. Open Chat from the Think section of the sidebar.

Ask a question

Start a new chat and type your question. Your knowledge base searches your documents, notes, and transcripts for the most relevant passages, then answers using what it finds. Responses stream in as they're generated, and you can ask follow-up questions in the same conversation, earlier messages stay in context.

Questions like these work well:

  • "What did we decide about the budget in last month's meeting?"
  • "Summarize the key points from the project proposal."
  • "What are the recurring themes across all my notes?"

See the sources

Answers point back to the documents they came from, so you can check the original and trust what you're reading instead of taking it at face value.

Scope the search

When you only want answers from part of your knowledge base, narrow the search:

  • By tag, limit chat to documents with specific tags, so unrelated material is left out.
  • By date, focus on a time range when recency matters.

Manage conversations

Past conversations are listed so you can return to them anytime. Start a new chat when you switch topics to keep the context clean.
