Research competitors with Competitive Intel

Add competitors, run AI deep-dive research from their website, and discover players you didn't know about.

Keep tabs on the market without living in a dozen browser tabs. The page is called Competitor Intel on screen, and it sits in the Research section of the sidebar.

Turn it on first

Competitor Intel is one of eight pages hidden from the sidebar on a new account. If you can't see it, scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and click Show all features, or open Settings and use the Navigation section.

Add competitors

Add the competitors you already know about to build your watchlist. Each one becomes a profile you can return to as your understanding grows.

Run deep-dive research

Kick off AI research on a competitor to pull together a structured deep dive, what they do, how they position themselves, their strengths, and where there might be gaps. It saves you the hours of manual digging and gives you a consistent picture across every competitor on your list.

Research reads the competitor's own website, so a profile needs a website URL. Without one the research button stays disabled.

Discover new competitors

Discovery starts by asking you to describe your business. It then suggests relevant players you may not have on your radar yet, and you add the ones that fit with a single click. It's an easy way to make sure you're not blindsided by someone you'd overlooked.

Put it to work

Your competitor profiles live on the Competitor Intel board. Customer Voice and Pre-Mortem draw on them automatically when they reason about your market. They are not documents, though, so they don't show up in chat or the Writing Studio. If you want them there, copy the research into a Quick Note first.
