Run an affiliate program
Recruit affiliates, give them referral links, and track conversions, commissions, and payouts.
An affiliate program rewards people for sending you customers. Your CRM lets you manage affiliates, track their referrals, and handle payouts.
Set up a campaign
Open Affiliates, which is organized into tabs for campaigns, affiliates, tracking, and payouts. On the Campaigns tab, click New Campaign. A campaign ties one or more of your products to a commission structure, so set:
- The commission, a rate that is either a percentage or a fixed amount.
- The products the campaign covers. A campaign needs at least one.
- An optional customer discount, a percentage or fixed amount the buyer gets for using the affiliate's link.
- The cookie window, the number of days after a click that a purchase still counts as that affiliate's referral.
- Auto-approve, if you want new applicants accepted without you reviewing them.
You can also add tiers to a campaign, so an affiliate's rate goes up once they pass a set number of conversions. For example, 15 percent once they hit 10 conversions.
If a campaign has its signup page turned on, copy its signup link and share it so people can apply to promote you on their own.
Add affiliates
Add the people who'll promote you. Each affiliate gets a unique affiliate code and referral link to share. When someone arrives through that link, your CRM attributes the referral to them. Each affiliate also gets their own dashboard link you can send them, so they can check their referrals and earnings without an account in your CRM.
Track referrals and conversions
The tracking tab shows referrals as they come in and which ones convert into customers. For each conversion you'll see the value and the commission earned, so it's clear who's driving results. If a sale falls through, you can reverse a conversion and the commission comes off that affiliate's totals.
Pay out commissions
On the Payouts tab, click Generate payouts to turn every unpaid balance into a pending payout, then mark each one paid as you send the money. You can also create a one-off payout for a single affiliate.
There is no affiliate trigger in Automations today, so commission notifications are not something you can wire up there yet.
