Hand your team the right tools
Noli is your team. Like any great team, it does its best work when you hand it the right tools. Here is every optional key you can add to your Chief of Staff, what it unlocks, and how to get each one.
Noli is your team: a Chief of Staff and specialists that already work across your CRM, marketing, projects, and knowledge base. But like a human team, they can only use the tools you give them. Each optional key below unlocks a real ability. All of them live in Chief of Staff, then Integrations, and each takes about two minutes to add.
None of these are required. Your team works well out of the box. These make it stronger.
Web research: Firecrawl and Brave Search
- Firecrawl lets your Chief of Staff read entire websites deeply, useful for competitor research and pulling facts from the web. Get a key at firecrawl.dev.
- Brave Search is a solid free alternative or backup with a generous free tier (about 2,000 searches a month). Get a key at brave.com/search/api.
With either one connected, "research the three newest listings near Maple Heights and summarize what they did well" becomes a task it can actually run.
Automation muscle: Apify
Apify unlocks heavier data collection, like monitoring sites for changes. Get a token at apify.com. Best for power users who ask their team for recurring research.
A voice: ElevenLabs
Add an ElevenLabs key and your Chief of Staff can read briefings aloud in a natural, premium voice. Get a key at elevenlabs.io.
Texting you where you live: channels
These are covered in their own guides, but they belong on the tool bench:
- Telegram, Slack, or Discord bot tokens let your Chief of Staff reach you in the apps you already check. See "Connect a channel".
- iMessage via Photon lets you text your Chief of Staff like a person. See "Connect iMessage".
Your own AI keys
If your team ever uses up its included AI tokens for the month, keys you add under Settings, then AI keys, keep everything running without a pause, billed to your own accounts. Those keys flow to every teammate's Chief of Staff automatically. See "Add your AI keys".
A rule of thumb
If you would hire an assistant and hand them a phone, a search engine, and a login on day one, hand your AI team the same things. Every key you add turns a "sorry, I can't do that yet" into an "already handled it".
