Chief of Staff
Add and manage skills
Turn skills on or off and add new ones to expand what your Chief of Staff can do.
Skills are the abilities your Chief of Staff can draw on, like building spreadsheets, working with PDFs, or financial modeling. It arrives with a useful set already on, and you can add more or turn off the ones you do not need.
See what is on
Open the Skills tab of your Chief of Staff, under Setup (on a phone, tap Menu, then Setup, then Skills). The Installed list shows every skill it has, each with a short description and an ON or OFF label.
Add a skill
In the Add a skill box, type what you need, such as "financial model", "bookkeeping", or "pdf", and click Search (or press Enter). Click Add next to the one you want. It takes a moment to install and appear in the Installed list, then it is there the next time you ask for something that needs it. Skills you already have show as Added in the results.
Turn skills on or off
Click the ON or OFF label on any skill to switch it. Turning off skills you do not use keeps your Chief of Staff focused, and you can turn a skill back on at any time. To take a skill away entirely, click Remove under it and confirm.
Skills you already have
Two sets come built in.
- A pack for your line of work. Real estate agents, local service businesses, and creators, coaches or online businesses each get a matching skill pack, so they do not start from the same place. Real estate plans get theirs automatically. Otherwise, set it in the Settings tab: click Edit next to Name and business profile and answer What kind of business are you? If you pick "Something else", your Chief of Staff keeps the general set.
- Noli's own finance skills, including a CFO briefing, bookkeeping, tax set-aside, and everyday money questions.
When skills kick in
You do not have to invoke a skill by name. When you ask for something that needs one, your Chief of Staff uses the right skill automatically. Adding a skill simply widens what it is able to do.
