Connecting your team

Connect Gemini to Noli

Add Noli to the Gemini app as a custom app, sign in once, and ask Gemini about your customers, pipeline, projects and notes. Also covers work accounts and the Gemini developer tools.

This guide is for anyone who uses the Gemini app at gemini.google.com or on a phone. You add Noli once as a custom app, sign in once, and then call on it from any chat.

If you use Gemini CLI, Antigravity or Gemini Code Assist, follow Connect developer tools to Noli instead.

Who can do this

Google sets the rules here, and they are narrower than for other assistants. As of October 2026, custom apps in the Gemini app need:

  • A personal Google account. Work and school accounts cannot add custom apps.
  • To be 18 or over and in the US, using Gemini in English.
  • Keep Activity switched on in your Gemini settings.

If you use Gemini through a work Google account, see Work accounts below.

Before you start

You need your Noli connection address. In Noli, open the account menu in the top right and choose AI assistants, then click Copy next to the address. It is always:

https://app.noliai.com/api/agent/mcp

Connect it

Add Noli on the Gemini website. Once it is added, it works in the Gemini phone app too. Google moves these menus around, so the names on yours may differ slightly.

  1. Go to gemini.google.com and open Settings, then Connected Apps. If you do not see it there, look under Personal Intelligence, then Connected Apps.
  2. Under Custom apps, click Add a custom app (or the Add a custom app link to get started prompt if this is your first one).
  3. Paste your connection address.
  4. Leave Advanced features alone. You do not need a key or any other details.
  5. Click Next, then follow the prompts. A Noli sign-in window opens. Sign in with the account you use for Noli and approve the connection.

Use it in a chat

Type @ in the message box and choose Noli, then ask your question.

What to try first

Start a new chat and try:

  1. "@Noli check my Noli capabilities." Gemini should list the parts of Noli it can reach.
  2. "@Noli who are my five most recent contacts?"
  3. "@Noli create a project called Connection test, then delete it." The project appears straight away. The delete does not: Gemini should tell you it is waiting for your approval, and you will find it under Needs you in your Command Center. Approve it there to finish the test.

Keep Gemini to one area

To let Gemini see only part of Noli, add ?products= to the address before you paste it, for example https://app.noliai.com/api/agent/mcp?products=crm. The names you can use are in Use Noli from your AI assistant.

If something does not work

  • You cannot find Custom apps. Check the list under Who can do this. The most common reason is being signed in with a work or school account.
  • The sign-in window does not open. Allow pop-ups for gemini.google.com and try again.
  • "Connection refused", or Gemini cannot add the app. Check the address, especially anything after ?products=. A misspelled product name makes Noli refuse the connection on purpose.
  • Gemini answers without using Noli. Start your message with @Noli so it knows to use it, then ask it to check your Noli capabilities.

Disconnect

Open Settings, then Connected Apps, and find Noli under Custom apps.

  • To pause it, switch it off.
  • To sign Noli out, open More details and choose Disconnect.
  • To take it away completely, open More details and choose Remove app.

Disconnecting stops Gemini from reaching Noli. Your Noli account and everything in it stay exactly as they are.

Work accounts

  • Gemini in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs and the Gemini app on a work account) only connects to a fixed list of partner tools that your admin picks. It cannot add Noli today.
  • Gemini Enterprise lets an admin add a custom server, but it needs Noli to hand over a fixed sign-in client ID and secret, which Noli does not offer yet. If your company runs Gemini Enterprise and wants Noli in it, email support@noliai.com.

In the meantime, Google's developer tools, Gemini CLI and Antigravity, can connect to Noli with a key. See Connect developer tools to Noli.
