Connecting your team
Connect Claude to Noli
Add Noli to Claude on the web, the desktop app and your phone as a custom connector, then ask Claude about your customers, pipeline, projects and notes.
This guide is for anyone who uses Claude at claude.ai, in the Claude desktop app, or in the Claude app on a phone. You add Noli once, sign in once, and Claude can then look things up in your business and get work done in it from any chat.
If you use Claude Code in a terminal, follow Connect developer tools to Noli instead.
Which Claude plans can do this
Claude allows custom connectors on its Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. On Free you can have one custom connector at a time.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organization adds Noli first, and then each person connects their own Noli account. Steps for both are below.
Before you start
You need your Noli connection address. In Noli, open the account menu in the top right and choose AI assistants, then click Copy next to the address. It is always:
https://app.noliai.com/api/agent/mcp
Connect it (Free, Pro and Max)
Do this on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app. Claude moves these menus from time to time, so the names on yours may differ slightly.
- Open Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Add (the plus button), then Add custom connector.
- Type a name, such as Noli, and paste your connection address. Click Continue.
- Claude shows the sign-in settings it found. Keep them, choose Sign in now, and click Continue or Add. If Claude asks which OAuth client to use, choose Register automatically.
- A Noli sign-in window opens. Sign in with the account you use for Noli and approve the connection.
That is the whole setup. You do not need a key. Leave Request headers empty if you see it.
On some accounts the window looks different: a single screen with a name, the address and a closed Advanced settings section. Fill in the name and address, leave Advanced settings alone, and click Add.
Connect it (Team and Enterprise)
If you own the Claude organization:
- Open Organization settings, then Connectors.
- Click Add, point to Custom, and choose Web.
- Name it Noli, paste the connection address, and finish the same way as above.
Only owners can add a custom connector on these plans. Adding it here does not give anyone access to your Noli account. Each person still signs in with their own.
If you are a member:
- Open Customize, then Connectors.
- Find Noli. It has a Custom label.
- Click Connect and sign in to Noli.
If you do not see Noli there, ask whoever owns your Claude organization to add it.
Use it in a chat
Claude picks up your Noli tools when they are relevant. To check that Noli is on for a chat, click the + button at the bottom left of the message box, point to Connectors, and make sure Noli is switched on.
Claude may ask before it uses a Noli tool the first time. That is Claude's own setting. You can change it under Customize, then Connectors, then Noli, then Tool permissions.
On your phone
Add Noli on the web or in the desktop app first. The next time you open the Claude app on iPhone or Android with the same Claude account, Noli is there and ready to use.
What to try first
Start a new chat and try:
- "Check my Noli capabilities." Claude should list the parts of Noli it can reach.
- "Who are my five most recent contacts in Noli?"
- "Create a project in Noli called Connection test, then delete it." The project appears straight away. The delete does not: Claude should tell you it is waiting for your approval, and you will find it under Needs you in your Command Center. Approve it there to finish the test.
Keep Claude to one area
To let Claude see only part of Noli, add ?products= to the address before you paste it, for example https://app.noliai.com/api/agent/mcp?products=crm,kb. The names you can use are in Use Noli from your AI assistant. To change the set later, remove Noli and add it again with the new address.
If something does not work
- The sign-in window does not open. Allow pop-ups for claude.ai and try again, or try the Claude desktop app.
- Claude says it cannot reach the server. Claude connects from Anthropic's servers, not from your computer, so your own network is not the problem. Check that the address is exactly right.
- "Connection refused", or Claude keeps asking you to sign in. Check the address, especially anything after
?products=. A misspelled product name makes Noli refuse the connection on purpose. Remove Noli, then add it again with the corrected address. - It says connected but no Noli tools show up. Start a new chat and check that Noli is switched on under +, then Connectors. Then ask Claude to check your Noli capabilities.
Disconnect
Open Customize, then Connectors, click Noli (or its three dots), and choose Remove. On Team and Enterprise, an owner can also remove it for everyone under Organization settings, then Connectors.
Removing it stops Claude from reaching Noli. Your Noli account and everything in it stay exactly as they are.
