Download your Knowledge Base
Take a copy of everything in your Knowledge Base as one ZIP, with every original file, your notes as Markdown and an index. It stays open for 30 days after a plan ends.
Everything you put in your Knowledge Base is yours, and you can take a full copy whenever you like. One click gives you a ZIP you can open on any computer, with no Noli account needed to read it.
Start the download
- In your Knowledge Base, open Settings from the sidebar.
- Scroll to Your data and click Download your Knowledge Base.
- On the next page, click Download ZIP.
The ZIP is built as it downloads, so it starts straight away. You can also reach the same page from Plan & add-ons in your account menu, under Your data.
What is inside
- files: every PDF, Word file, image and recording you uploaded or imported from Google Drive or Dropbox, exactly as it was, sorted into your folders.
- notes: your quick notes, meeting notes, journal entries, saved web pages, video transcripts, Notion pages and emails, each as a Markdown file with its tags and dates at the top. Markdown is plain text, so TextEdit, Notepad, Word, Google Docs, Notion and Obsidian all open it.
- index.html: open it in your web browser to see every document in one list, with a link to each one.
- index.csv: the same list for Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, with folders, tags, dates and the notes you added to each document.
A large Knowledge Base
If your Knowledge Base holds more than 250 MB of files, the page splits it into parts of up to 250 MB so each one downloads quickly and reliably. Download every part and unzip them into the same folder. Part 1 has the index and all your notes, and the links in the index work once every part is unzipped.
If you add or delete documents while the page is open, a download may send you back to the page with fresh links. Click Download again.
What is not included
- Documents your teammates shared with you. They stay in their own Knowledge Base, and they can download them.
- Chat conversations, writing projects, courses and to-dos. Email support@noliai.com and we will send them.
- Passwords, API keys and connection tokens for the tools you connected.
After your plan ends
The download stays open for 30 days after your plan ends, even though the rest of the Knowledge Base locks. The page tells you the last day. About three weeks after the plan ends we email the workspace owner a reminder, and after 30 days the data is deleted.
