Debrief a call

Talk for a minute after a call and your Chief of Staff turns it into updates, tasks, and drafts.

After a call or a meeting, you do not need to write anything up. Open your Chief of Staff, choose Debrief a call, tap the microphone, and talk the way you would tell a colleague what happened.

For example: "Maria wants the proposal Friday, budget is around eight thousand, she is nervous about the timeline, introduce me to her ops person Dana."

When you hand it off, your Chief of Staff:

  • Updates the relevant contact in your CRM with what you learned, or creates them if they are new.
  • Creates any tasks and follow-ups you mentioned, with due dates.
  • Logs the commitments, both what you promised and what they promised.
  • Drafts any recap email, introduction, or proposal you referenced.

Anything it drafts goes to your approval queue for review rather than being sent, and it gives you a short summary of everything it did.

No microphone? Just type

If your browser does not support voice capture, or you would rather type, the same box takes typed notes. You can also edit the transcript before you hand it off.

Or just tell it in chat

You do not have to use the Debrief button at all. You can simply tell your Chief of Staff about a conversation in normal chat and ask it to handle the follow-through. The Debrief button is the fastest way to do it hands-free.
