Connect Google Calendar once, for everything

Your calendar is where your working life actually lives. Connect it once and every part of Noli reads from the same source: your Chief of Staff sees what your week looks like and can book appointments for you, and your CRM booking pages and AI receptionist respect your real availability.

Like any great hire, your team does its best work when you hand it the right tools. The calendar is the first one to hand over.

Connect it

Your calendar is set up in one place, your CRM, and the rest of Noli reads from there. You do not connect it separately in each app.

1. Open your Chief of Staff, then Settings, and find the Calendar card.
2. Click Connect Google Calendar. Your CRM settings open in a new tab, because the CRM owns the connection.
3. In the Calendar section, find Google Calendar and click Connect.
4. Approve the Google consent screen with the account whose calendar you live in.

That is the whole setup. One connection, shared everywhere. Back in your Chief of Staff, the card shows the account you connected as, and the button changes to Manage in CRM.

If the card says it could not reach your CRM, the connection itself is fine, the status just could not be read at that moment. If it says your account does not have CRM access yet, set that up first, because the calendar lives there.

What it unlocks

• Your Chief of Staff sees your week. Ask "what does tomorrow look like?" or "find me thirty minutes with a buyer this week" and it answers from your real calendar. Events you add in Google show up in its picture of your week within about ten minutes.
• Its bookings land on your calendar, once you say so. When your Chief of Staff books an appointment, it waits for your approval under Needs you before it goes onto your Google Calendar, unless you have let it update your CRM on its own. See Decide what your Chief of Staff can do without asking. If it later moves an appointment it booked, the Google event moves too, after the same approval.
• Some changes still need Google. Cancelling an appointment in Noli, and editing events in the CRM calendar, do not update Google yet. Make those changes in Google Calendar.
• Your morning message uses it. It counts the new appointments booked since yesterday, and your Chief of Staff can flag an appointment in the next day that needs preparing.
• Booking flows respect it. Your CRM booking pages and your AI receptionist check your Google Calendar for busy times before offering a slot. Bookings made on your booking pages are also added to your Google Calendar. Bookings your AI receptionist makes go on your CRM calendar, not Google.

Apple Calendar, Outlook, and everything else

Google is the only calendar Noli reads from today. Your Chief of Staff cannot see what is on an Apple or Outlook calendar, and it cannot book into one. If you want it reading your real availability and booking on your behalf, connect Google.

You can still see your Noli bookings in another calendar app. The Calendar card in your Chief of Staff's Settings shows a subscription link under Apple Calendar, Outlook and others. Click Copy and add it as a subscribed calendar in Apple Calendar, Outlook or any app that accepts a calendar link. It only works one way: your bookings show up there, but nothing you add there comes back to Noli.

Disconnecting

On the Calendar card, click Manage in CRM, then click Disconnect next to Google Calendar. That stops the sync everywhere at once, because there was only ever one connection, and Noli asks Google to withdraw its access. You can confirm that in your Google Account under Security, in your third-party connections. You can reconnect any time.

A note on permissions

The connection asks for calendar access so your team can read your schedule and create appointments for you. Tokens are encrypted, and the sync ends the moment you disconnect.
